Orders & Shipping

Placing an order

Board only: can I buy it without accessories?

Currently we only offer our boards as complete packages rather than board-only options. This lets us keep quality consistent and make sure you have everything you need to get on the water.

Replacement fins: how do I get one?

iROCKER has used several fin types over the years. All our inflatable paddle boards since 2021 use the same clip-in flip-lock fin. If you are not sure which fin your board uses, see our fin guide, Which Fin Fits My Paddle Board?

Replacement fins are available in our Gear collection — see “Which replacement fin fits my board?” to find the right one. Lost fins are not covered under warranty. If the fin you need is out of stock, click “Notify Me” on the product page and we will email you when it is back. Fins on iROCKER 8.0 and BLACKFIN 7.0 boards are tethered to the fin box for extra protection.

Financing: do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer Affirm at checkout, so you can choose from the available payment options for your purchase. Terms and eligibility are determined by Affirm.

Sold out: when will it be back?

Sign up for the “Notify Me” alert on the product page to be the first to know when it is back. We typically restock or introduce a new generation of products in spring/summer 2027.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping cost: how much is it?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order and destination. We ship within the U.S., including Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories.

Delivery time & tracking: when will my order arrive?

Orders typically process within 1–3 business days. Once processed, delivery usually takes an additional 3–5 business days, depending on your shipping destination.

As soon as your order ships, we email you a tracking number. You can also see it anytime by logging in to your iROCKER account and opening the order. Larger orders can ship in more than one box, each with its own tracking number, so part of your order may arrive a day or two before the rest.

Shipping Protection: what is it?

Shipping Protection is an optional service you can add at checkout. It is administered directly by iROCKER and gives you a faster claims process if your package is lost in transit, damaged during shipping, or stolen after confirmed delivery. Once you submit a complete claim, we will give you a decision within 7 calendar days, even if the carrier is still investigating. Approved claims receive a replacement of the same item, or store credit for the amount paid if that item is unavailable.

Shipping Protection is not insurance and does not offer cash refunds. The fee is generally nonrefundable once your order has shipped. Shipping Protection does not replace any rights you have under applicable law. See our full Shipping Protection Policy for details.

Tracking not updating: what should I do?

Carriers do not scan a package at every stop, so tracking can sit still for a day or two. If there has been no tracking update for 7 days, or your package is 5 days past its estimated delivery date:

  • With Shipping Protection: file a claim at irockersup.com/pages/file-a-claim. You will receive a decision within 7 calendar days of submitting a complete claim.
  • Without Shipping Protection: submit an “Order Status” request on our Contact Us page with your order number, and we will open a claim with the carrier for you. Carrier claims usually take about 2 business weeks.
Marked delivered: but no package?

Packages sometimes turn up a little later, at a side door, with a neighbor, or in a mailroom or parcel locker. Please give it 48 hours after the delivery scan and check all of those places, look at the carrier’s delivery photo, and confirm the shipping address on your order confirmation.

If you added Shipping Protection: file your claim at irockersup.com/pages/file-a-claim within 7 calendar days of the delivery date. Include your order number and the email used for the order, what happened and when you noticed, a photo of your front door or delivery area, and any carrier case number you already have. We will also ask you to report the package missing to the carrier and to sign a short statement confirming it never arrived. Most complete claims are reviewed within 1–2 business days.

If your order does not include Shipping Protection: submit a “Delivery” request on our Contact Us page with your order number and a photo of your front door or delivery area. We will compare it with the carrier’s proof of delivery and open a claim with the carrier for you. Carrier investigations usually take about 2 business weeks.

In either case, if it appears your package was stolen after delivery, we may ask you to file a police report and send us the case number so we can review your claim.

International shipping: do you ship outside the U.S. and Canada?

Not at this time. Because of changing tariffs and shipping costs, we have paused shipping outside the U.S. and Canada. Some customers use a third-party freight forwarder with a U.S. address — see “How does a third-party freight forwarder work?” Boards shipped internationally are subject to import fees and are not covered under our warranty.

Shipping to Canada

Canada: do you ship there?

Not from our U.S. store. Canadian orders have always been served by our Canadian site, and we have paused bringing new inventory into Canada until 2027. Canada’s paddling season is short, and rather than carry limited stock through the off-season we would rather come back with the full lineup ahead of the 2027 season.

If you are in Canada and want a board now, some customers use a third-party freight forwarding service — a company that receives your U.S. order at a U.S. address and arranges shipment across the border. We are not affiliated with any of these services, and the arrangement is between you and the forwarder.

One thing to know before you choose that route: boards shipped internationally are subject to additional import fees and are not covered under our warranty. If warranty coverage matters to you, order from our Canadian site while stock lasts, or wait for the full lineup ahead of the 2027 season.

Canadian site: why is stock limited?

We have paused bringing new inventory into Canada until 2027, so what you see on the Canadian site is the stock we have on hand — selection is limited and some models may sell out.

Canada’s paddling season is short, and we made the call to restart with a full, fresh lineup ahead of next season rather than run thin through the winter.

If you already own an iROCKER board, nothing changes for you — warranty and returns are still handled as normal. See the next question.

Bought in Canada: can I get warranty support or return it?

Yes. Warranty claims and returns are processed as normal, and we have kept limited warranty inventory in our Canadian warehouse to serve them. The pause affects new inventory coming into Canada — it does not affect the boards already out there or the support behind them. To start a warranty claim, use the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page. To start a return, log in to your account on our Canadian site and use the Returns Portal.

If the replacement you need happens to be out of stock during the off-season, we will do our best to replace it with the closest match or find another solution for you. If we cannot, we will add you to the waiting list so your replacement goes out as soon as spring inventory lands.

Freight forwarders: how do they work?

You place an order on our U.S. site and ship it to the forwarder’s U.S. warehouse. From there the forwarder handles cross-border transport and customs clearance and delivers to your Canadian address.

A few things to know before you go this route: boards shipped internationally are not covered under our warranty; duties, taxes and brokerage fees are yours to pay and are not included in your iROCKER order total; we cannot track or manage a shipment once it leaves the U.S. address; and boards are large, so get a quote before you order.

Changes, cancellations & returns

Cancel or change: can I update my order?

Once an order is placed it goes straight to our warehouse for fulfillment. Because orders move quickly, we are usually unable to make changes or cancellations after an order has been placed.

If you need to cancel, submit an “Order Cancellation Request” on our Contact Us page as soon as possible. We will try to stop the order, but we cannot guarantee a cancellation once the order is placed. If it has already shipped, you can return it within 45 days through our Returns Portal.

Address change: can I update it after my order ships?

Once an order has tracking, we can no longer change it. If it is shipping with UPS, you can sign up for UPS My Choice (free) to update the address or redirect the package to a pickup location. For any other carrier, please contact the carrier directly. Please note: any change you make directly with the carrier, such as a new address, a pickup location or a delivery hold, is between you and the carrier. Once you redirect or hold a package, iROCKER can no longer track or manage the delivery, and we are not able to cover loss, delay or damage that happens after the change. This also applies to Shipping Protection, which does not cover packages redirected outside our order-update process.

Return policy: can I return a used board?

iROCKER offers a 45-day return policy from the original purchase date. Used boards may be eligible for return if they are clean, dry, undamaged, and returned with all original accessories and packaging. Boards returned damaged, dirty, wet, or in unsellable condition may not qualify for a refund.

See our full Return Policy for complete details.

How to start a return:

  • Log in to your iROCKER account (or use our Returns Portal) and select the order.
  • Choose the items you are returning and a return reason.
  • Submit your request. Once it is approved, you will receive a prepaid return label and instructions by email.

Good to know:

  • The cost of the prepaid label is deducted from your refund ($15 for accessories, $30 for boards).
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Please ship your return within 5 business days of approval. Late returns receive store credit instead of a refund.
Refund timing: when will I get my money back?

Once your return reaches our warehouse and is inspected, please allow 1–2 weeks for the refund to be processed. After that, it can take another 1–5 business days to appear on your statement. Depending on your bank, it may show as a new credit or as your original charge reduced to a lower amount. If the refund still does not appear after that, your bank can help you locate it.

Damaged or missing parts: what do I do?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Experience Team as soon as possible. We will review the issue and work with you on the best next steps. Please keep your order and packaging until the issue has been resolved.

If an item is missing, submit a request on our Contact Us page with your order number, the name of the missing item and a photo of what arrived. We will send the missing item and email you tracking once it ships. If something arrived damaged, please include photos of the item and the shipping box.

If you added Shipping Protection, file a damage claim within 7 calendar days of delivery at irockersup.com/pages/file-a-claim. Include clear photos of the product, all sides of the box, the inner packaging and the shipping label, and please keep everything until your claim is resolved.

Where to buy

In stores: can I buy iROCKER in a store?

You can. We recommend buying from an Authorized Reseller so your board and gear are covered by our warranty — products bought from unauthorized resellers are not eligible for iROCKER warranty coverage. You can see our current authorized retailers here. Warranty claims for products bought from a retailer go through that retailer.

Warehouse & open-box sales: do you still hold them?

We no longer host in-person warehouse sales. Any future open-box sale will be announced online, so sign up for our emails to hear about it first. Please note that used and open-box purchases are not covered by our warranty.

Discounts & Promotions

Current offers & promo codes

Discounts: does iROCKER offer any?

Current discounts and promotions are always reflected on our website. Offers may change or end at any time, and promo codes cannot be combined unless we say otherwise.

The best way to hear about upcoming sales and exclusive discounts is to sign up for our emails. Our subscribers are the first to know about new promotions, product launches and restocks.

Military, healthcare & first responders: do you offer a discount?

Our partnership with ExpertVoice has ended, so we do not currently offer an additional discount for military members, healthcare workers, or first responders. We appreciate everyone who makes up our community and hope to offer a program like this again in the future.

Multi-board & fleet pricing

Multiple boards: is there a discount?

Yes, at two levels. Buying two boards, use code EXTRABOARD$50 at checkout to save $50. Buying five or more, contact our sales team for fleet and bulk pricing.

Price guarantee

Price match: do you honor a lower or later sale price?

Yes. If the price of a board, float or accessory you bought on irockersup.com drops on irockersup.com or iROCKER's Amazon store within 14 days of your purchase, you may be eligible for our price guarantee.

To request it, choose "Price Guarantee" on our Contact Us page and include your order number and purchase date. If your order qualifies, we will send you a single-use code for the difference to use on a future order at irockersup.com.

The price guarantee does not apply to:

Major promotional events, such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Early Black Friday, Black Friday and holiday sales

Promotions that ended before you placed your order

Used and open-box products, promotional accessories and Gift with Purchase orders

See our full Price Guarantee Policy for details.

Community & partner programs

Ambassadors & affiliates: do you have a program?

Yes, both. Brand Ambassadors share their life on the water with our community. The best way to be considered is to engage with us on social — share your stories and interact with our posts so we can get to know you. Ambassadors are selected at the end of each year and onboarded before the next season (April–May). Our Affiliate program is for influencers, review sites, YouTube creators, watersports forums and more; you can learn more and sign up on our Affiliates page.

Co-branding: can my brand partner with iROCKER?

We would love to hear about it. We have created custom co-branded SUPs and floats with brands like Blue Chair Bay Rum, Life is Good and HOBIE. Email product@irocker.com with “Co-Branded Boards” in the subject line, and tell us about your brand, what you have in mind, and roughly how many boards or pieces of gear you are looking to produce.

Retailers: can I carry iROCKER?

Please choose “Wholesale Inquiries” on our Contact Us page and tell us about your store, location and the products you are interested in. Our sales team will follow up.

Donations: do you support charities, schools or events?

At this time, we are not able to take on new donation or sponsorship requests. We appreciate you thinking of us and hope to support more causes like yours in the future.

Choosing Your Board

Which board is right for me

Beginners: which board is best?

The CRUISER. Its wider shape gives you excellent stability while still leaving plenty of room to explore. Choose between the classic CRUISER and the CRUISER ULTRA™ based on the features and setup that fit your adventures.

Board & paddle size: what fits my height and weight?

Any paddler over 5' should be comfortable on any board in our lineup. A shorter board is easier to handle both on and off the water, so that is worth weighing if carrying and storage matter to you.

The real difference is the paddle. Our standard iROCKER paddles are sized for riders 5'2" and taller. If you are shorter than that, or you are outfitting a child, we recommend our kids paddle — it is shorter and adjustable, and the blade has an added scoop that makes every stroke more efficient and more comfortable for a smaller paddler.

If you weigh over 180 lbs, consider a board with a 400+ lb weight capacity for added stability and room for extra gear, a kid, or your dog.

Our brands: how do iROCKER, BLACKFIN, ULTRA™ and iLAND® differ?
  • iROCKER — versatile, all-around boards for everyday paddling.
  • BLACKFIN — premium boards with added features, stability, and performance.
  • ULTRA™ — lightweight, compact boards designed for easy transport and adventure.
  • iLAND® — inflatable floats, hammocks, chairs and bars built for relaxing on the water rather than paddling.

Compare Brands to find the right fit for you.

Board weight: how heavy is it to carry?

Board weight varies by model, but iROCKER paddle boards generally weigh around 20–30 lbs, making them easy to carry and transport. Our ULTRA™ boards are the lightest option, starting around 20 lbs. Check the individual product page for the exact weight of each board.

Two riders: can two people share one board?

Yes. Many iROCKER boards can accommodate two riders, depending on the board’s weight capacity and size. For the best experience, choose a board with enough capacity and space for both riders.

Kids: are the boards suitable for children?

Kids can enjoy iROCKER paddle boards with proper supervision and the right board for their size and ability. We recommend our kids paddle for smaller paddlers — it is shorter, adjustable, and shaped for easier, more comfortable strokes. Always follow local water-safety guidelines and use appropriate safety gear.

Inflatable vs. hard board: how do they compare?

Inflatable paddle boards are lightweight, durable, and easy to pack, transport, and store, making them ideal for traveling or homes with limited storage space.

Hard boards offer a more rigid feel and can be preferred for certain performance-focused paddling. For most recreational paddlers, an inflatable board offers the versatility to travel almost anywhere and get on the water wherever adventure takes you.

Yoga: are iROCKER SUPs good for it?

Absolutely. iROCKER boards give you a stable platform with enough cushion to make SUP yoga comfortable and enjoyable. We would start with the CRUISER; if you want more room, the BLACKFIN MODEL X and the CRUISER ULTRA™ are both excellent for yoga as well.

What’s in the package

What’s in the box: what comes with my board?

Every paddle board comes with the essentials: fins, paddle, ankle leash, repair kit, pump, and carry strap. ULTRA™ boards come with a backpack in place of the carry strap, plus additional premium accessories.

Accessories vary by model and package, so check the What’s Included section on the product page before you buy — that is always the most accurate list for the board you are looking at.

How our boards are built

Heat-welded seams: why do they matter?

Heat welding uses heat and pressure to fuse the layers of the board together rather than relying on adhesive. That creates a strong, consistent bond along the seam and helps minimize the weak points associated with traditional glued construction.

The lifespan of any inflatable depends on how it is used, stored and cared for, but heat-welded construction reduces the risk of seam separation over time — a board built for reliable performance season after season.

Accessories & Compatibility

The MAGTITE™ system

MAGTITE™ on new models: is it included on all of them?

MAGTITE™ is available across the new generation of iROCKER and BLACKFIN boards, ULTRA™ boards, and iLAND® floats, giving you more ways to customize and organize your setup. Specific MAGTITE™ features vary by model.

MAGTITE™ vs. MAG Ties™: what’s the difference?

They do two different jobs. MAGTITE™ is the magnetic puck built into the product — compatible magnetic accessories snap onto it. MAG Ties™ are straps that connect one float to another so you can link floats together into your own setup.

MAGTITE™ appears across our latest boards and our iLAND® floats. MAG Ties™ come with every iLAND® float.

Your own drinkware: does it work with MAGTITE™?

MAGTITE™ accessories are designed specifically for the MAGTITE™ magnetic mounting system, and we have not tested third-party drinkware with it. For drinks, we would recommend a MAGTITE™-compatible cup rather than attaching your own directly to the puck.

MAGTITE™ puck: is it heat-welded or glued?

The MAGTITE™ mounting point is integrated into the board during the manufacturing process, creating a secure connection designed for regular use on the water.

Older gear on new boards

Older accessories: do they fit the new boards?

Many standard iROCKER accessories remain compatible across generations. MAGTITE™ accessories are the exception: they need a MAGTITE™ mounting point. To use older accessories on a new board, or MAGTITE™ accessories on an older one, see the Cup Holder MAGTITE™ Adapter and the Action Mount Adapter. Each accessory’s product page lists the boards it works with.

Older accessories + MAGTITE™: how do I use them together?

Two adapters bridge the generations. The Cup Holder MAGTITE™ Adapter turns a MAGTITE™ attachment point into a traditional action mount, so compatible iROCKER cup holders work on the latest boards. The Action Mount Adapter does the reverse — it turns a traditional action mount into a MAGTITE™ attachment point, so magnetic accessories work across generations.

These adapters are the only MAGTITE™ mounting parts we sell separately — the pucks themselves are built into the board.

New-generation accessories: what’s available?

Yes. The new generation introduces MAGTITE™ accessories built around the magnetic mounting system, giving you more ways to customize your setup and keep your essentials within easy reach.

Replacement parts

Replacement MAGTITE™ puck: can I buy one?

No — the MAGTITE™ puck is integrated into the board during manufacturing and is not sold as a standalone part. We do offer MAGTITE™ adapters, which bridge between magnetic and traditional mounting points, but the pucks themselves are not available separately.

If a mounting point on your board stops working and your board is within its warranty period, file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page.

Replacement paddle, pump, leash or bag: can I buy one?

Replacement parts and accessories may be available for purchase. Visit our Gear collection to see what is available and in stock.

If the part you need is out of stock, click “Notify Me” on the product page and we will email you when it is back.

Fin fit: which replacement fin fits my board?

Since 2021, all iROCKER and BLACKFIN inflatable boards use the same clip-in flip-lock fin box. Original boards use a 3-fin setup: one center fin (regular or river) and two optional side fins. ULTRA™ boards use a twin-fin setup with two ULTRA™ side fins.

Which fin fits my board: original flip-lock center fin, center river fin and side fins, and ULTRA™ twin side fins

For more detail, see our fin guide, Which Fin Fits My Paddle Board? We no longer carry fins for boards made before 2021.

Setup & On the Water

Inflating & PSI

PSI: how much air should I use?

The recommended PSI range is printed on the valve of your board or float. Always stay within that range and leave room for air to expand — especially if you are inflating early in the day, before temperatures rise.

Inflating: how long does it take, and is it hard?

Most iROCKER boards inflate in about 5–8 minutes. Treat that as a starting point rather than a promise — a few things move it.

By hand, it comes down to how fast and how steadily you pump. An electric pump runs at a constant rate, so it can land in roughly the same time, take a little longer when it is running off a car outlet or an external battery, or finish sooner than an inconsistent manual effort.

Either way, watch the recommended PSI printed on the valve rather than the clock.

Electric pumps: can I use one?

Yes. Electric pumps are compatible with iROCKER inflatable boards, and we offer them for purchase separately. Our ULTRA™ 3.0 boards include an electric pump for convenient, hands-free inflation.

Pump gauge not working: what should I do?

The gauge usually starts registering once your board reaches around 7 PSI, so it is normal for it to sit at zero for the first stretch of pumping. Before assuming there is a problem, make sure the gauge is securely attached and that the dial on your pump is not stuck between settings.

As the pressure rises, the hand pump gets harder to push. When that happens, switch the dial to the second or third stage to make pumping easier. Keep pumping until you reach the recommended PSI printed on the valve, even if the board already feels firm.

Electric pump stopped: what should I check?

Most electric pump problems come down to power. Start by checking the fuse:

  • The fuse. If the pump suddenly lost power, the fuse may have blown. It sits inside the plug that goes into your car’s power outlet. Unscrew the tip of the plug slowly (there is a small spring inside), swap in the spare fuse that came with your pump, and screw it back together.

If the pump still does not work and it is within its warranty period, file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number and a short video of the issue.

Pump hose: leaking or broken — what should I do?

First, check the connections. Make sure the hose is attached firmly at both ends, and that the gauge is screwed in securely. Then try again.

If air still escapes where the hose meets the pump, or the hose is cracked or broken, pumps are covered as gear for 1 year from purchase. File a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number and a short video of the issue.

If your pump is past its warranty, you can buy a replacement Electric Pump hose in our Gear collection. If it shows sold out, click “Notify Me” on the product page and we will email you when it is back.

Paddle, fins & leash

Paddle: does it float?

Briefly. The foam inside the paddle gives it buoyancy when fully assembled, but it will eventually take on water and sink — so always keep the paddle fully connected if it goes in the water.

Fins: how do I install and remove them?

iROCKER uses flip lock fins, which are easy to put in and take out. Open the lever on the fin box, slide the fin into the slots, and push it all the way to the end before you lower it. Close the lever, then pull up on the fin to check that it has locked. If the fin stays put, you are ready to go.

To remove it, open the lever and slide the fin back out the way it went in.

Fin won’t lock: what should I do?

Almost always, it is one of these things. Work through them in order.

Technique. Slide the fin into the slots and push it all the way to the end of the fin box before you lower it. Keep it pressed to the end while you lower it into place, then close the lever and pull up on the fin to check it has locked.

Something is in the fin box. Sand, dirt and seaweed collect in the box and stop the fin from sliding all the way to the end, and the lever will not lock if anything is in the way. Rinse the box out with fresh water and check that it is clear before trying again.

The fin box is cold. If your board has been stored inflated in air conditioning, the plastic fin box hardens and contracts slightly, which feels exactly like the fin being too big. Letting the box warm to a little above room temperature before you insert the fin usually solves it.

The flip-lock lever is worn. Levers wear over time and can stop holding the fin. The lever is easy to replace: unscrew it, note how it comes out, and screw the new one in the same way. Replacement flip-lock levers are available in our Gear collection.

The fin is from a different production batch. Replacement fins, whether from us or from a third-party seller, are not always from the same batch as your board, and the fit can be a hair off.

If the lever still will not lock after all of the above, the fin can be shaved down very slightly along its back edge. Removing 1–2 mm of length with sandpaper or a file is enough. Take the material off the fin, never off the fin box, and go slowly. You can always remove a little more.

If your fin or fin box still will not work and your board is within its warranty period, file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page.

Broken paddle: is it covered?

Paddles are covered against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. Lost or stolen paddles are not covered, and neither is damage from impact, such as dropping, stepping on or falling on the paddle. To start a claim, submit the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number and a photo or video of the issue. If your paddle is not covered, replacement paddles and paddle parts are available in our Gear collection.

What you can do on your board

Dogs: can my dog come on my board?

Absolutely — iROCKER boards are made for adventures with your four-legged co-pilot. Before you head out, make sure your dog’s nails are trimmed and free of sharp edges to help prevent accidental damage to the PVC.

Kayak seat: can I use one on my board?

Yes. The kayak seat attaches to the D-rings along the sides of the board, and some iROCKER models can take two seats.

Getting on: how do I climb on without falling in?

Start in calm water and get onto the board from your knees, positioning yourself near the center of the board. Once you feel balanced, slowly stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Take your time and practice in calm conditions until you feel comfortable.

Safety gear: what does the law require?

Safety requirements vary depending on your location and the waterway you are using. Always check your local boating regulations before heading out.

Please note: safety on the water is of the utmost importance, and we strongly encourage you to wear a personal flotation device (PFD) while on your board. PFD requirements vary by state — please refer to the United States Coast Guard for regulations specific to your area.

Care, Storage & Transport

Cleaning & drying

Cleaning & drying: how do I care for my board?

Fresh water and mild soapy water are all you need. Rinse your board with fresh water after each session, especially after paddling in saltwater.

Before rolling it up for storage, let the board dry completely — 24 to 48 hours. Keep it fully deflated, or at 6 PSI or less, while it dries. Rolling up a damp board increases the risk of moisture-related issues and can contribute to delamination over time.

Saltwater: does my board need extra care?

Yes. Our boards are designed for use in both freshwater and saltwater. After paddling in saltwater, rinse your board and gear with fresh water and allow everything to dry completely before storing.

Center handle: how do I care for the removable handle?

If your board has a removable center handle (ULTRA™ 3.0 and later, BLACKFIN 7.0 and later, iROCKER 8.0 and later), unclip it after each session, especially after paddling in salt water. Rinse the handle and the mount with fresh water, check the mount for sand or grit, and let both dry completely. We recommend storing the handle separately when your board is packed away. When you are ready to paddle, it clips back in the same way it came out.

Storing your board

Staying inflated: can I leave my board inflated?

If you are leaving your board inflated between uses, reduce the pressure to 6 PSI or less. When your board is in the water, the surrounding water helps regulate its temperature; out of the water, heat causes the air inside to expand and internal pressure to rise.

For storage, keep your board out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures. Damage caused by leaving an inflatable fully inflated in uncontrolled temperature conditions is not covered under our Warranty Policy.

Winter storage: how should I store my board?

Clean and dry the board completely, then deflate it, roll it up, and store it in its bag in a cool, dry place away from the elements.

Avoid uninsulated sheds, attics, and vehicle trunks, where temperatures swing dramatically. Extreme temperature changes put unnecessary stress on the materials over time.

Rolling up: how do I fit it back in the bag?

Remove the fins, open the valve, and allow the board to fully deflate. For standard iROCKER boards, roll tightly and evenly from the nose toward the valve, then secure with the included strap. ULTRA™ boards use a bi-fold design before rolling.

Transport & travel

Traveling inflated: can I transport my board inflated?

No. Transport your inflatable board fully deflated and stored in its bag. Carrying an inflated board on top of a vehicle or in a truck bed exposes it to wind, heat, and pressure changes that can damage the board and may void your warranty.

Warranty, Repairs & Support

What’s covered

Warranty: do boards and floats come with one?

Yes. Coverage depends on the product:

  • iROCKER and BLACKFIN paddle boards: 3 years for side seam leaks, 2 years for other defects, including handles, D-rings and bungees
  • iLAND® floats and other inflatables (including float handles): 1 year
  • Gear and accessories: 1 year

All coverage starts on the date of purchase. A warranty replacement doesn’t extend your original warranty or start a new one. See our full Warranty Policy for coverage details and exclusions.

BLACKFIN recall: is my board included?

In 2022, we launched a voluntary recall of a limited number of 2021 BLACKFIN boards for possible seam separation. If you believe your board may be affected, please start a warranty claim through our Warranty Portal and include your board's serial number and a few photos so our team can evaluate it. Our team will check your serial number and follow up by email with next steps.

Start a warranty claim →

Registration: do I need it for warranty coverage?

No. You do not need to register your board to receive warranty coverage.

Warranty claim: how do I file one?

To start a claim, submit the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number, a brief description of the issue, photos or video of the defect, a photo of your serial number, and your name, phone number and return mailing address.

Claims can only be started while your product is within its warranty period. Please start your claim when you have your product and all of the information ready. Claims must be completed within 14 days. If we do not receive the requested information in that time, the claim is closed and the issue is no longer eligible for warranty coverage. We review complete claims within 3 business days.

For a seam leak, please include a short video of the board inflated that shows the air escaping (see “I think my board has a slow leak”). Please keep your board until your claim is resolved. Warranty replacements use the same model and color when available, or the closest match, and you keep your original accessories.

No receipt or order number: can I still file a claim?

Every warranty claim needs proof of purchase. If you bought from irockersup.com or irockersup.ca, include the name and email address you used at checkout in your claim and we will look up your order. If you bought from iROCKER’s Amazon store, include your Amazon order number. If you bought from another store or retailer, please contact that seller: warranty claims for those purchases go through the seller you bought from.

Split seam or “popped” board: what should I do?

First, stop using the board and deflate it. We do not recommend repairing an opened seam — once a seam separates, the structure that holds the board’s shape has been compromised and we cannot guarantee it is safe. If your board is within its warranty period (3 years for side seams), file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number, a photo of the serial number, and photos or video of the seam.

Heat puts extra stress on seams: air inside an inflated board expands quickly in the sun or on hot surfaces. Damage caused by heat or sun exposure is not covered under warranty, so we recommend lowering the pressure and keeping your board in the shade whenever it is out of the water.

Handle, D-ring or strap came off: is it covered?

Our newest boards are designed to prevent this. All ULTRA™ 3.0 and later, BLACKFIN 7.0 and later, and iROCKER 8.0 and later boards have a removable center handle, so there is no glued handle to come loose.

On earlier boards, handles, D-rings and bungee points are covered against workmanship defects for 2 years from purchase. Handles on iLAND® floats are covered for 1 year, like the rest of the float. Bags and other gear are covered for 1 year. To start a claim, submit the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number and a photo of the issue. If your board is out of warranty, many small fittings can be re-attached with marine-grade PVC glue. See “What glue should I use?”

What voids your warranty

Voiding the warranty: what isn’t covered?

Warranty coverage does not apply to certain types of damage or misuse. Please refer to the “What Is Not Covered” section of our Warranty Policy for full details.

Rocks & submerged objects: can they damage my board?

Our boards are built with reinforced, durable PVC and can withstand minor contact with rocks, wood pilings, and other submerged objects. Even so, use caution when paddling in shallow or rough areas — punctures and damage caused by impact are not covered under warranty.

Fading: is it normal, and is it covered?

Some fading or discoloration can occur over time with exposure to sunlight and normal use. This is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered under the warranty.

Troubleshooting & repairs

Repairs: does iROCKER offer them?

We do not offer in-house repairs, but most common issues are easy to fix at home. Our Paddle Board Repair guide walks you through finding a leak, fixing a valve and patching a small hole. See also “My deck pad is peeling or lifting” and “What glue should I use?” If you believe the issue is a manufacturing defect and your board is within its warranty period, file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page.

Slow leak: how do I find it?

Inflate your board to the maximum recommended PSI printed on the valve. Mix dish soap and water in a spray bottle, spray the seams, the valve and any area you suspect, and watch for bubbles.

  • Bubbles along a seam: seam leaks may be covered under warranty (3 years for side seams). Record a short video of the bubbles and file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with your order number and a photo of your serial number.
  • Bubbles at the valve: tighten it with the valve wrench from your repair kit. See “My valve is loose or leaking.”
  • Bubbles anywhere else: a small puncture can be patched at home. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol, then cut your PVC patch into a circle, since rounded edges resist peeling. Apply marine-grade PVC glue to both the patch and the board and press the patch down firmly, pushing out any air bubbles. Place something heavy and flat on top and let it cure for 24 hours before inflating. For the full walkthrough, see our Paddle Board Repair guide.
Leaking valve: how do I fix it?

If you hear air escaping around the edge of the valve, use the valve wrench included in your repair kit to gently tighten the valve by turning it clockwise. Tightening a leaking valve is the wrench’s only job.

Never use the valve wrench to deflate your board, and always make sure your board is fully deflated before using it. Improper use of the wrench can damage the valve and may void your warranty.

Repair glue: which glue should I use?

A marine-grade PVC adhesive, available at most hardware stores. HH-66 Liquid Cement is another option that gives a strong, long-lasting bond when used correctly.

PVC glue is right for small punctures, a lifting deck pad or a loose D-ring. It is not a fix for an opened seam — see “My board’s seam split.” PVC glue is not included in our repair kits. iROCKER PVC Glue will be back on our website in spring 2027.

Peeling deck pad: how do I fix it?

Deck pads can lift over time from sun and water. It is common on inflatable boards and usually easy to fix. Clean and dry the area, inflate the board to about 7 PSI, apply marine-grade PVC glue (or HH-66 for a stronger hold) under the lifted edge, and press it down firmly. If you can, leave the board inflated overnight indoors, out of direct sun, with 5–10 lbs of weight on the spot while the glue cures.

If you see a bubble in the middle of the pad, it is not a leak — the adhesive has let go in that spot. Use a thin needle to release the trapped air (the pad sits on top of the board’s outer layer, so this will not puncture the board), press the air out, and glue it the same way. To prevent more lifting, dry your board completely before rolling it and use a SUP cleaner and protectant. If more than 2 inches is lifting and your board is still under warranty, file a claim through the “Report a Warranty Concern” form on our Contact Us page with photos and your serial number.

Serial number: where do I find it?

On a board, the serial number sits by the fin box. On a float, it is on the bottom. It is a combination of numbers and letters.

The serial number can appear faded, so take a careful look — it is often harder to spot than you would expect.

iLAND® Floats

What’s included

Carry bag: does the iLAND® come with one?

No. iLAND® floats do not come with a carry bag — each float comes with a carry strap for easy transport to and from the water.

Pump: does the iLAND® come with one?

Yes. Each iLAND® float comes with a compact manual pump.

Included accessories: what comes with each iLAND® model?

Each iLAND® float comes with a carry strap, compact manual pump, MAG Ties™, and repair kit.

Inflating & deflating

Inflating: how do I inflate the iLAND®?

All iLAND® floats can be inflated using the included compact manual pump. For faster inflation, you can also use an electric pump such as the Power Pump Max.

Inflation time: how long does it take?

The 8' and 10' Hammocks take around 5–8 minutes, similar to one of our boards. Only the outer ring inflates and the center of the float is open mesh, so there is less air going in than the size suggests. The Bar and the Chair take roughly a third of that — about 2–3 minutes.

As with our boards, treat those as a starting point. How fast you pump moves the time by hand, and an electric pump can run a little quicker or a little slower depending on how it is powered.

Pump type: which pump should I use?

Each iLAND® float includes a compact manual pump. For faster and easier inflation, you can also purchase the Power Pump Max, which lets you inflate your float with less effort and get on the water faster.

PSI: how much air should I use?

The recommended PSI for each iLAND® product is listed directly on the inflation valve.

Deflating: how do I deflate the iLAND®?

Turn the pin in the valve area to release the air. For faster deflation, you can also connect an electric pump and use the deflate setting to remove the remaining air.

Folding & storage

Folding: how do I fold the iLAND® for storage?

Deflate your iLAND® completely and allow it to air dry. Please do not fold your iLAND® until it is completely dry.

  • 8' and 10' Hammock — fold the two pointed ends in toward the middle, then fold it over in sections into a compact rectangle. Wrap the carry strap around it to hold it in place.
  • Chair — fold the backrest down, then fold the arms inward.
  • Bar — remove the insert and fold each piece separately.
Staying inflated: can I leave it inflated long-term?

Like any inflatable, we recommend deflating and storing your iLAND® when it is not in use for an extended period. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, and humidity can cause material deterioration over time, including weakening or lifting of adhesive bonds. Leaving your iLAND® in fresh or salt water for extended periods can also contribute to mold growth and material degradation.

To help extend the life of your iLAND®:

  • Deflate and store it when it is not in use for an extended period.
  • Allow it to fully dry before folding and storing.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat, and humidity.
  • Rinse with fresh water after use in salt water and allow it to air dry completely.

Proper care and storage will help keep your iLAND® in great condition for years of fun on the water.

Drying: does it need to be fully dry before storing?

Yes, always. Make sure your iLAND® is completely clean and dry before folding and storing to help prevent mold and mildew growth.

Outdoor storage: can I store it outside?

For the best long-term care, we recommend storing your iLAND® indoors in a cool, dry environment when not in use. Prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, and moisture can cause material deterioration over time, including weakening or lifting of adhesive bonds.

Always make sure your iLAND® is completely clean and dry before storing.

The iLAND® Chair

Chair setup: how do I set up the iLAND® Chair?

Five steps:

  • Unroll your chair and lay it flat on a clean surface.
  • Insert the recliner rod. Before inflating, remove the rod from its packaging and take off the end cap. Slide the rod through the loops connecting the backrest to the chair body, then reattach the end cap to secure it.
  • Clip the backrest. Attach the adjustable backrest straps to the clips on the bottom of the chair to support your desired reclining angle.
  • Inflate. Make sure the valve is in the up/closed position before inflating so air does not escape when you remove the pump hose. Inflate both the chair body and the backrest to 6–8 PSI.
  • Adjust for comfort. Once inflated, fine-tune the sling at the base of the chair for your ideal seating position, then sit back and relax.
Chair assembly: does it come assembled?

No. Follow the setup instructions above to install the recliner rod, attach the backrest straps, and inflate the chair.

Chair capacity: how much weight does it hold?

The iLAND® Chair is designed for one person, with a weight capacity of 280 lbs.

Comfort & use

Capacity: how many people fit on each iLAND®?
  • 8' Hammock — 3 to 4 people
  • 10' Hammock — 5 to 6 people
  • Chair — 1 person
  • Bar — designed to accommodate a small dog, a child, or a 45L cooler
Where to use it: pool, lake, river or ocean?

Yes. iLAND® floats are designed for use in pools, lakes, rivers, and the ocean.

Saltwater: can I use the iLAND® in it?

Yes. We recommend rinsing your float with fresh water after use and allowing it to dry completely before storing.
